Our Story

Roost North began with a simple idea: create vacation rentals we'd want to stay in ourselves. Clean, thoughtfully designed spaces that feel like home—but better.

We fell in love with Northern Michigan the way everyone does—slowly at first, then all at once. The clear blue waters of Grand Traverse Bay. The rolling vineyards of Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas. The towering dunes of Sleeping Bear. The quiet trails through pine forests. The farm-to-table restaurants that rival any big city.

When we started hosting guests, we realized there was a gap in the market. Plenty of rentals existed, but few offered the combination of modern design, meticulous cleanliness, and genuine hospitality we were looking for. So we set out to build something different.

Clean is non-negotiable. We hold ourselves to hotel-level cleanliness standards. Fresh linens, spotless kitchens, and professionally cleaned spaces—every single time.

Local knowledge is everything. We don't just hand you keys. We share our favorite coffee shops, hidden hiking trails, and the restaurants where we'd take our own friends. Our neighborhood guides are written from years of exploring this region ourselves.
